Metropolitan’s Homematch service closes on March the 31st, read on to find out what you need to do if you are still looking for a home to buy or rent a home for less.
Metropolitan are closing the Homematch service in order to focus on providing more new homes. From the 1st April the Homematch service will no longer be available.
Homematch has run for four years and received nearly 37,000 registrations of interest and held three major exhibitions and has helped many Londoners to explore their options and get on to the property ladder. We’d like to thank you for using the service.
If you are still seeking a home to own through Shared Ownership or rent for less through Intermediate Rent and want us to keep in touch, here’s what to do next:
- If you are home seeking in London, register with FIRST STEPS, the Greater London Authority’s official website offering information on homes available through London Shared Ownership, Help to Buy and Intermediate Rent for all housing providers active in the capital
- If you are home seeking outside of London, register with your local Help to Buy Agent who are appointed by the Homes and Communities Agency to provide information on homes available through Shared Ownership, Help to Buy and Intermediate Rent for all housing providers active in your region.
